moving on

Yesterday I started the BBD Needlecase and I'm already almost finished! It's a very quick piece. When this is done I have to put some time into my Beatrix Potter for the month. The plan was to totally finish this piece and the pincushion over the weekend but the weather forecast is already calling for nice temps. So that means no stitching or sewing while I play in the backyard with my pugs. :-)
Here is the band for the pincushion. Talk about a hard piece to photograph. :-) But you get the idea.

I do get the idea and it probably looks wonderful in real life. Sometimes it's hard to get a good close picture - I'm sure the fabric pattern doesn't help! Enjoy the weekend even if you don't get any stitching done!

It's gorgeous! I'm going to have to get to it someday! In the meantime, I'll live vicariously. :)

This is turning out so pretty. I love the fabric.
I hear you about not getting too much stitching done on the weekend and being outside. Me too. :) It is supposed to be upper 70s here on Ling Island. I can't wait!
