lost luggage

Due to the terrible weather on the east coast Sunday and Monday, I had many productive hours at O'Hare International Airport yesterday in which to work on My Quaker House. I'm closing in on the last quarter of the piece. :-) But since my luggage never made it to New Jersey, I can't take a photo of my progress because my camera was in said luggage. Please send your warmest good wishes for my bag to join me here in Princeton, NJ. :-) I have hopes it will join me soon.

Oh, dear! It does usually turn up, though...sending best wishes your way for its speedy return. (Plus I'll bet some of your favorites clothes were in that luggage too).

Oh man!! Well, at least it is required that you shop for clothing now...it must be done! : )

Try to enjoy the rest of the trip!

The dreaded luggage mess. Mine took an extra day and then some to catch up with me in Utah at the retreat. (My layover at O'Hare was only 8 hours, not sure why I would have thought that was enough time to get it from one American Airline plane to another American Airline plane). A cohort went to Baltimore for a conference in Feb, and she never did get her luggage while she was there. The luggage arrived at the hotel three different times after she left and finally the last time, they kept it and just shipped it to her. Stitching for airports is always a must, I've been snow delayed at O'Hare and there's nothing quite like it. Sitting and stitching at O'Hare all day watching the blizzard beats working anyday in my book. Hope the luggage shows up soon.
