a late train

My train into downtown was late this morning by almost an hour. Most people around me were bitching and moaning. But for me, it's more stitching time! :-) Here is my progress on Quaker Samplings I. I wish my photos could do justice to just how pretty this green is. And I think it works great with the Sugar Maple linen from Lakeside Linens. The more I use their linens, the more I like them. I need to join a fabric club that sends out just those. I found one from Shakespeare's Peddlers that is a super good deal. And I can still sign up for the year. I really need to think hard about doing it.

Because of the snow storm that rolled in yesterday, agility was cancelled - I had almost a foot of fresh snow over the past two days at my house. I was glad I didn't have to go out back into the snow because the roads were really bad but Molly really needs the work since we have a trial in less than three weeks. :-( And once again, we are not ready. So I worked on Block 4 of the Village. Making good progress. It almost looks like a house now.

Great progress on both Margie :) I'm tempted by the Lakeside FOTM from Shakespeare's Peddler too - I've managed to resist so far, but I might not be able to resist much longer ;)
