hooking again

I keep saying one of these years I'm going to learn how to use my camera so I can take better blog photos. Maybe some day! :-) Here is Dresser Drawer Hearts. So fun!

Last night I picked up my little rug again. I love hooking. I got a cash award from work (don't get too excited for me it was very small :-)) and I've been thinking of 100's of ways to spend it. One is putting the money toward a large rug kit. But of course I still need a frame and I only got half of what I need for the one I have my eye on. Rug or frame, rug or frame.....

Or quilt kit, stitching supplies, dog stuff, spring clothes......
:-)

I love your SB piece so far! And rug hooking! I love your rug! I'm so glad you're hooking so I can admire what you do. lol! Good luck deciding what to spend your bonus on. Bonuses are nice, even if they're small!

Your projects are looking great. I think you are a natural born hooker!
I'd say go for a good frame. It's so much easier to hook when you can hold the backing very taut. {{ Just my two cents worth }}
Pug hugs :)

get the frame. I have a Snap Dragon Frame and I love it It's so easy to use and holds the fabric taut without any effort at all.

Both your projects are looking great!!! Do you think you can come over and give me a smack to get back to my hooking again? Sigh - so many things to do and so little time. Just like your cash award - so many things, but only so much cash!!

LOLOL!!! I know exactly what you mean! Isn't thinking up fabulous ways to spend some dough half the fun of receiving it?? I do that all the time... squeeze it to the very last drop of planning enjoyment. :)

Great progress on both pieces!
