rainy weekend

I swear it rained every second of the weekend. And it was a cold rain. I spent most of the weekend sitting on the couch bundled up. And not stitching. I did something I haven't done in a long time, I read a book! :-) I usually do all my book reading on the train listening to them. This was a nice change and I know the pugs enjoyed it as they were bundled up with me sleeping. I'm almost finished with the first chart from the Big Zipper. I have to finish stitching in the fence. This week is a tough one on the train. Day Light Savings always kicks my butt and today was no different than previous years. I stitched for maybe 15 minutes or so then it was lights out.
I managed to start on House #3 of the Houses of Hawk Run Hollow. I always like to get the border in as soon as I can but don't always manage. I think it helps me to see my progress.

You're making great progress. I hear you on the daylight savings time thing! And it rained here all weekend too. Good time for a book or stitching!

I love your WIPs! And yes, I'm the same as you, both with listening to books as opposed to picking one up to read and with the Daylight Savings thing. Argh!!!

You made a fantastic progress!!! And isn't it just wonderful to just sit and read a book from time to time?
Too bad you can't do both at the same time...At least there are Audiobooks.
