Snow Garden finis

Snow Garden - design by Blackbird Designs
32 count Purely Primitive linen from Silkweavers
Recommended overdyed floss

I did finish up my Snow Garden on the way home from work last night with time to spare. And got a start on Valentine Rose this morning. :-) I'm happy with the two extra keys I stitched in. It was easy to remove the initials on this piece but it won't be so easy on some of the others. But I'll work at it and I'm sure I'll come up with something I like.

I took a photo of the entire piece of linen. Wow, I have a way to go!

Here is the start of Valentine Rose. Not sure if I will work on it much over the weekend. I'd rather get some more done of my silk glove project.

Have a great weekend!

Love the finished piece. That is one big piece of linen. Good luck with the gloves. If we get snow this weekend it will be a good time to get some stitching done. Have a great weekend.

I have snow garden laid out to start. You make me want to pick it up right now ! How long did it take to stitch? I have an ornament I am working on, A BBD from JSC Ornament issue. I think I may stop it and start stitching the Snow Garden. I am about to order the Valentine Rose. I also want to stitch them all together. My piece is 35 Count and is 29 X 21. I keep worrying if it will be big enough. I went by the size for the big picture and added 3 inch border. Can't wait to keep seeing your progress.

Beautiful, Margie! The colors are so soothing and pretty. That IS a big piece of linen but I have no doubt you can tame it!

REally stunning finish on the first "square"! Boy does it look tiny when you back up and show the whole piece of linen - lots of stitching to do, but then again, you seem to be a very fast, proficient stitcher!! Have a good weekend.

Snow Garden looks lovely. I think it is a shame though that this block seems to stand out amongst the others with it's light colours. I'm slowly getting used to it though. Just started my 5th house which is at the end of the top row.

Oh well done to get this lovely piece finished. It looks wonderful.
I have it ready to go but need to finish the red cardinal design from BBD Joyeux Noel first.
