eyes and a nose

I did receive my missing blue silk and was able to finish Mrs. Pearson's face. I'm not sure if it makes her any less creepy or not. :-)

I made a good start to block #5 of HoHRH. I'm really going to be good for the rest of the month and get this finished. :-) Yes, you have heard that before. :-) I have many other things temping me right now. Part 3 of my Isa V Grand Marquior is fairly screaming at me and I love the new Loose Feathers AND I still have to finish the Loose Feathers I started two weeks ago. Not to mention the couple of other charts I have picked up in the last couple of weeks. I need the summer off.

She still looks creepy - but she makes me smile.

Block 5 moved fairly fast for me. The checkerboard grass was really easy. I thought it was going to take a lot more attention than it did. IIRC I finished it in an afternoon.

I'm so glad to see someone else working on this chart! I started her a few weeks ago, and I think that she's so enchanting! It's like...so that's what's underneath all of those big skirts...big birdcages full of birds! Something about her...

Great progress! Mrs. P's dress is going to be something else! I am rooting for you on Houses, I say the same thing all the time-- lets get this done already! Nice job!!

Mrs. P is a bit creepy - she looks kind of like she's been punched with the blue around her eyes. Love your HRH progress, Margie.

Have a great week!

It's all looking great! I admit Mrs. Pearson still looks a bit creepy, but I'm sure she'll start looking better soon. Hope you get lots of stitching in!

How funny that I'm not the only one that thinks Mrs. P is creepy. I need the whole summer off too...I have way too much stitching to do! Having a four day weekend was such a teaser. Can't wait to see all your progress!

I think it must be her pale skin with that dark hair? Who knows, I do know it will be fabulous when finished!!

Miss Pitts does look a little eerie - kind of like she had her eyes punched! But that's the charm of the piece, don't you think? Cheering you on for your Houses block!!
