Well that was a fast year...

Clancy O'Shay, momma's little boy - July 4, 2005 - January 7, 2016

Where do I start?  First I can't believe it's been a year since I last blogged.  Stitching and dogs took a back seat to the yard.  It seemed like I had a good start in the year but lost my ju-ju really early.  I started work on a new koi pond for my yard in February.  Lot's of planning and the actual building started in March.  I didn't even get any koi in until May.  And I put it to bed in November with still a ton of work to do and things still left to buy.  What a huge money pit.  And I don't even have a nice photo to share.  :-(  How did that happen?

I only have one finish to show - and that was from last week.  Shepherd's Bush Goodness and Grace pin cushion.  I made a start from that series on the pin keep also.
I signed up for a crewel work class from the Shinning Needle and I've been making good progress on that.  It's going to be a giant strawberry - I'm filling mine with shot to make a frame weight.
 Isabelle and Benny sharing.  :-)

I adopted another lab in September.  I started fostering for Chicagoland Lab Rescue back in the summer and the fourth dog I fostered for them was Benny from Puerto Rico.  I knew within 30 minutes of his being dropped of, I couldn't let him go.  Isabelle loves him also so it's a huge plus.

My 2016 started out very sad.  On the 7th of January my beloved pug Clancy died in a tragic accident while I was away on vacation.  He will never be replaced and always remembered.  It's been so hard without him.  I love all my dogs but it was different with Clancy.

Margie,
I'm so very sorry for your loss. I know losing a furbaby especially unexpectedly is heartbreaking but I hope soon that laughter will replace your tears when you think of Clancy and his antics.

I am sorry to hear about Clancy's passing. May you find comfort in the memories that Clancy left behind. Thank you for expanding your home to include Benny. He and Isabelle are looking very innocent at the moment.

I am so sorry to hear about Clancy, that must have been so upsetting for you not being with him at the end. I still think about my two dogs and it is 17 years since we lost the last one.

Thank you for your comment in my album about my Heart's Content fob. I don't seem to have your email address any more and the link won't work for me. Please write if you would like more information.

Good for you on developing a stitching spot for yourself! I hope it works for you; if not, move the furniture around again. Your finish is darling and you have made good progress on your crewel piece.

So proud of your blog, I have been out of touch for a while with so much going on in my life and I was lost because of my illness but I'm stronger and I am here to tell you about a natural remedy that is guaranteed to make you wonder why your doctor didn't tell you about it. Then, on the other hand, it is pretty obvious why your doctor didn't, because that's not his job, is it? But, seriously, promise me you won't get too angry with your health practitioner, it's really not their fault. They can only practice what they're told to practice, right? When your health is at risk there's no time for Tom foolery, you've got to get down to the cause and nip it in the bud. So you've been suffering from painful gout attacks have you? Well, allow me to give you a new perspective on the solution to what plagues you I was once in your shoe until my college friend introduce me to Dr Itua herbal center which cure my hiv/herpes,Lymphedema, after drinking it for two weeks as instructed, Dr Itua is an africa herbal doctor who has natural power to cure all human illness diseases I believe Dr Itua so much because he help me cure my hiv/ herpes which has being my burden in life so I promised Dr Itua that I will testify about his work online after curing me and that is what I'm doing here so please if you are sick from those diseases do not hesitate to write Dr Itua Herbal Center On Email: drituaherbalcenter@gmail.com Or chat with him on his online store www.drituaherbalcenter.com
