it's a bird!

I've started on Ms. Fred herself this morning. This piece if flying. I'm doing her on 36 count Antique Gold from Silkweavers using the recommended NPI silks.

It's almost Friday. :-)

I agree, this is looking so nice! Hurray for Fridays! I always enjoy hearing about your weekends. They are so much more interesting than mine. I don't get to do nearly as much stitching as you do. Can't wait to see what you get up to.

It really is flying along. The border does still have a moderate amount of fill-in; the antique gold looks so good; I need to make a note about that linen!

I'm afraid I've only left sporadic comments lately, but I wanted to comment tonight to say how much I've enjoyed watching your progress on this piece. The colors are wonderful, and I love the shape of the bird added in this post. It's looking great, and you really are "flying" along (pun definitely intended).
