A new start

Since I could not proceed on my Petit Etui (not enough CC floss) I started on the new Loose Feathers, It's Berry Time. Such a cute design! I'm doing mine on 36 count Silkweavers Purely Primitive using Gentle Art Old Red Paint. I didn't have enough of the called for CC Wild Berries but I thought the Old Red Paint would look nice. And I think it does. :-)

I'm continuing to stitch in the background on House #6. My goal is to have it complete by the Monday. I love how the colors pop on the black background.

Isn't it fun to start something new? Glad you are enjoying it. Love the little picket fence on #6!

Great new start! And looking good on the fill in on HRH! That's the most time consuming block, but it's oh so worth it!

Old Red Paint is one my favorite GA colors - just beautiful.

And belated congrats on the new pup. Are you going to change the name of your blog? ;)

Love the new start. And you're right about the colors popping now that you're putting in the black sky. Great progress!

I love starting new projects but I hate it when I run out of a colour in the middle of a project, it makes it hard for me to go back to it. You're doing great with your houses.
