HoHRH Block #10 finis

I finished up block #10 last night. Just what is the little critter? I thought it maybe was a monkey but what would a monkey be doing in Hawk Run Hollow? Maybe a squirrel with a ratty tail? :-) I'm going to start on August's block #9 (the block to the left) as time permits. It's great to be caught up.

Here is the entire piece as it currently stands.

And now for something completely different - a bracelet! I used to do a lot of beading a couple of years back and have a pretty nice collection of jewelry that I never wear. I joined a beading of the month club and this is part of the first month I received. I'm still working on the necklace that matches and hopefully I'll be done with that by next week. And maybe I'll even put them on. ;-)

Congratulations on your Block finish! It looks great! That creature certainly doesn't look like a squirrel - more like a monkey, but who knows! Lovely bracelet - it's going to make a nice set when you finish the necklace.

Congratulations on the finish of block ten! I had a good laugh about the little critter - looks more like a big mouse to me:) The jewelery looks very pretty.

Well, you'll be happy to know that I have not taken my HOHRH out of the "to do" basket because you're stitching it for me (tee hee)! I just LOVE our progress and can't believe how fast we're going! Woo Hoo!

(The truth is that you're inspiring me to get this started...it's so lovely!)

(I promise that someday I will stop being a crazy-ass atalker stitcher and do stuff on my own.)

(Really. I will.)

Great finish! I think it's a mouse myself, but who knows. :D As for the bracelet -- very pretty!!! Have you seen the beading kits of the month from French General?? Sooo pretty, but very expensive!

I really love your HOHRH and really want to start mine but alas my head still is like it doesn't belong to me. As soon as I do I shall put a picture of it on my blog. Patti xxx

Woohoo!! Congrats on the finish. It's one of my favorite blocks. I vote for squirrel, btw.

I love love love the bracelet! I wish I had the skill to do my own bracelets, but I'd be the Mr. T of beaded bracelets if I could. LOL

I love this piece, and it is on my mental list of charts I must buy.

I think the critter is a little mouse due to the long tail. :)

Take care, and thanks for commenting on my blog.
