Remember Maria from Florida, the kind lady that sent me a ton of Shepherd's Bush kits and charts back in the fall? I made her a little thank you for being so kind and she received it last week. I quilted her a little pin cushion and made her a scissor keep. She was very happy to get them. :-)
I'm way behind on everything right now. My Christmas cards still need to be mailed and I'm not done shopping. I have to figure out what I'm bringing for the Christmas potluck dinner my family always has every year and shop for that. And all I want to really do is quilt. :-) What I wouldn't give for a couple of days off work this week.

I love your stockings and your gift to Maria. I do think you need to make a stocking for yourself-- they're wonderful! Sorry you have to work this week. I think they should give everyone two weeks of vacation around Christmas and New Years. Wouldn't that be nice?
What you need is your own quilting and needlework store so you can sit and work on things in between customers! I can totally see you doing that.
Mmm, beautiful stitching, Margie!
It was a lovely thank-you gift to send!
Wish you some lazy days to hobbycraft at leisure!
lovely gifts, the pincushion esp
and bbd stockings

Very nice thank you gift Margie! I'm not ready yet either but somehow it always seems to get done in time. Hang in there!
There never is enough time for needlework! That goes double for this time of year. I like the stocking and what a cute pin cushion and scissor keep. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
