I've made great progress over the past two days. I've managed to stay awake on the train as well as get a little stitching in over my lunch. As usual, taking a good photo of this Havana linen is proving beyond my ability. I think I need a bright cloudy day to capture it's true color. What I have not been making good progress on is Houses of Hawk Run Hollow. I just started block #2 and I'm way behind. If I work at it every night the rest of the month, I'm sure I'll get it completed so I can stay on track. I'd hate to get behind in only month two. :-)

Very lovely so far! I also have the same frustrations with darker fabrics. I hate that I can't get a true representation of how beautiful they are in person!
It looks great, Margie! Good luck getting going on HoHRH, too!

Love love love how this piece is coming along. That fabric is gorgeous. Good luck with getting back on target with your HRH - I love watching you stitch on that piece!
