That's how I took a class in a nearby town and it was very reasonable as it included the project materials.Casa Pearlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11547550587801035688noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30105258.post-52188201974903244432010-02-03T15:02:48.553-06:002010-02-03T15:02:48.553-06:00OK you have to bring that in!! My current problem is how close together to put those loops. lol!Margarethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03646028248366805686noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30105258.post-15201440348196186382010-02-03T12:33:48.615-06:002010-02-03T12:33:48.615-06:00Gene Shepherd on YouTube just type in either Gene ...Gene Shepherd on YouTube just type in either Gene Shepherd or Rug Hooking. I would also recommend his website. On his website he also has a set of Instructional CD's that take you through it. Highly recommend him. Also, if you have a wool shop in your area, I'd call ask about things, etc, a lot of times they will give you a free "lesson" when you purchase the stand, etc. Good Luck! I was all hot and heavy into getting started in this last fall, but I need to put 4 kids through college first :) It's a bit expensive.Vonna Pfeifferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16483344299817504410noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30105258.post-84379396462668772492010-02-03T11:14:20.068-06:002010-02-03T11:14:20.068-06:00Hi Margie, if you haven't been to Lori's s...Hi Margie, if you haven't been to Lori's site, she's a good reference w/some nice links. There are some great videos on YouTube. I can't remember the gentleman's full name offhand, but I believe it's Gene. He has some great videos that would get you started. The first one I looked at showed both what goes on on the top and on the bottom of your piece. I haven't had time to look at the rest of them, but someone who turned me on to the whole rug hooking thing said that these videos are really good.Debhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00792171420098351093noreply@blogger.com
